Job Title: Painter/Body Repair Technician

Job Summary: We are currently accepting applications for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality body repairs and painting on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and assess vehicles for damage, determining the extent of repairs needed.
  • Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Mix and apply paint to match vehicle colors and ensure a seamless finish.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.
  • Communicate with management to provide updates on repair status and address any concerns.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in auto body repair and painting preferred.
  • Proven experience as a body repair technician and/or painter.
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and painting processes.
  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in auto body repair and painting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Work Environment:
  • Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and dust.
  • Use of personal protective equipment is required.
  • Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
